Growing up on a family farm in Wisconsin, Whitney’s love for exploring the outdoors started at an early age. Being in nature has always provided fresh inspiration for her creative mind to wander. The idea for this tiny, lovable, mushroom came to life while hiking a favorite trail along Lake Superior’s North Shore. Whitney is a proud Marquette University graduate, registered nurse, amateur artist, writer, avid hiker, and mom of two beautiful girls. With a wild imagination and never-ending love for adventure, you will often find her exploring new places, writing poems on Post-it notes, dreaming of her next mountain to climb, or simply lost in a book.
