Patricia McConnell, PhD, CAAB Emeritus, is an internationally respected animal behaviorist, award-winning author, and one of the world’s leading voices in canine behavior and positive reinforcement training. Her bestselling books—including The Other End of the Leash, For the Love of a Dog, The Education of Will, and others—have sold more than two million copies worldwide.

For more than twenty-five years, Patricia taught puppy classes, consulted on complex canine behavior cases, and lectured internationally on dog behavior and training.
