(WFRV)-There’s a new offering from an author who writes about local history.
In this segment, Lynda Drews discusses her new book, Disposable Wives, and what happened near Green Bay, following the Civil War. She explains the plot of her new book, explaining what it is about, and what additional characters she wanted to focus on. She shares what this story says about the societal rights and perceptions of women during that time, explaining her research process for bringing these histories to life. Following the success of her last book, The Maid and the Socialite, which led to numerous public events, Lynda discusses whether her new release will follow a similar path. She also notes that readers can expect some character overlap between the two books. In addition, Lynda has several upcoming book signings. She shares what she loves most about connecting face-to-face with readers and where you can go to follow along with all of her upcoming events.
