This anthology is a collaboration between Shake Rag Alley Center for the Arts and Little Creek Press, created as part of a community-wide initiative funded by an NEA Big Read/Arts Midwest grant. The project invites readers and writers to explore the question: Where do we live—and what stories live within us?
Inspired by the themes of migration, identity, and personal history in Kao Kalia Yang’s memoir The Latehomecomer, the anthology gathers original essays and nonfiction from community members reflecting on their family stories, heritage, and connections to the Driftless region.
Little Creek Press is an award-winning full-service independent book publishing company based in scenic Mineral Point, Wisconsin.
