A native of Duluth and a lifelong explorer of the North Shore of Lake Superior as a hiker, skier, kayaker, and observer, R. T. Lund has always loved to write but didn’t think he could make a living at it. He was right. Nonetheless, Avenging the Dead is his fifth novel and the third and final installment of his Lake Superior Trilogy. For now, he resides in the Twin Cities with his wife, Ann, and the smartest golden doodle in Minnesota.
