Patti Cullen

Patti Cullen, a Wisconsin native, married her high school sweetheart, Terry, in 1983. They had three children, Ben, Mandy, and Carrie, their greatest blessings! However, on November 11, 2014, life as they knew it changed in an instant. On this date, they learned their son took his life by suicide. This was the reason that BENS Hope came to fruition.

After a 43-year banking career, giving approximately 300 suicide-awareness-prevention presentations, and authoring the book Tears of Love, Patti resigned from her banking career to serve in the capacity God put on her heart as a Grief, Grace and Gratitude Specialist.

Patti and Terry continue their mission of educating others to aid in suicide awareness-prevention, reduce the stigma of suicide, offer support through their monthly Survivors of Suicide meetings, and provide resources and tools for those struggling.
