Shannon Booth has dedicated over 13 years to proofreading and copyediting. She learned how to proofread while working as a medical transcriptionist. Then she transcribed video interviews for a company that produces curricula and assistive technology devices for special education. She then transitioned into proofreading complex curricula, user guides, and grants, which led to her eventually copyediting adapted literature for K–12 students.

Over the years, she has completed proofreading courses and continues investing in editing courses while staying current with trends in the proofreading, editing, and writing world. 

Shannon has also spent the last 11 years working as the go-to copyeditor for Little Creek Press. Repeat authors request her services, and she has worked on book series. Shannon is flexible and enjoys working with authors to meet their expectations. She delights in being a vital part of the publishing process.
