Kristin Mitchell has spent the last 34 years in the graphic design industry. She owned and operated Kristin Mitchell Design, Inc. for almost 27 years. Thirteen years ago, she founded Little Creek Press to fulfill a need she saw to bring authors words to life through a caring, open process resulting in high-quality, published books.

Kristin will now be taking her years in both industries and focusing her efforts on publishing the best and strongest books by Wisconsin writers. “I love this state and can think of no better way to honor it than by curating the best selection of books that showcase Wisconsin and its writers.”

Kristin is a community builder by nature and sees great opportunity in building community, not just in her adopted hometown of Mineral Point (which she loves), but in Wisconsin as well. Kristin believes in collaboration and connection and strives to do both to the best of her ability. She has served on many committees, boards, and fundraising projects in Mineral Point.

Kristin currently serves as board chair of the Mineral Point Community Foundation and the Mineral Point Excellence in Education Foundation. She is on the board of directors for the Mineral Point Chamber of Commerce, the Ladies Leadership of Southwest Wisconsin, and more.
