REVIEWS
Sue Berg opens her new novel with a bang—literally. As autumn descends, a deadly explosion rocks the serene hills and valleys of Wisconsin’s Driftless area. When more bodies show up, detectives—and readers—wonder whether this case involves more than one killer. As pressure mounts, the investigators also grapple with personal problems, past and present, that in some cases place targets on their backs. Join Berg as she weaves descriptive scenes and well-drawn characters into a story of crimes with international implications.
